Just like my raven vanguard 2, but allows me to carry a light. Wish it was tuckable, but it still gets carried every day. Shipped in 4 weeks which is exactly what the website said the lead time was, so I can't complain. Reholstering is not an issue either. Thanks for making a great product AC!
I have made other perches in the past but this was the first time armordillo disappointed me , took months to receive product and once received I was disappointed in quality
I really like the X-FER for my Streamlight. It's great. I really want something for OWB, so I drilled another hole in the side of the X-FER and voila - I'm using the V1 like a V2! Here's the thing though...I know that the original X-FER is meant for IWB. I can tell on the design that part of the retention is by being IWB, so I'm not sure that it will be a good long term solution for OWB. That's why I'd REALLY like to buy the X-FER V2 for the Streamlight. I know, I could switch over to the Surefire and use the existing X-FER V2, but I have quite a number of pistols, each with a Streamlight on them. The amount of money I would spend on converting would be ridiculous. Armordillo - you have a great product! Let me know when I can buy the V2 for Streamlight and I'll be buying several!
Very nice minimalist holster. Holds the gun securely by the flashlight...so that had better be attached to your gun with gusto! I run the same Surefire X300-U on four different pistols and they all work perfectly with this holster. However, I would like to have the option of a belt clip in place of the loop.
I've had mine now since they first went on the market a few years ago. It's the best and never had an issue. Goes on quick, travels well all day, doesn't cover a lot of area so not as much sweat in the summer like some brands. I've even shot it in pistol matches targeted toward carry weapons and not race guns. I'd love to expand my holster selection with Armadillo, they've really delivered a good product and recommend it to anyone.
